Naina

Jaage jaage soye soye tere naina
Sapno mein khoye khoye tere naina
Tanhaeeyon ki parchayeeon mein
Tum hi ho na
Tere naina
Haye naina

Suni suni suni suni si ye raina
Aaja piya tere bina nahi chaina
Unchayeeon ki gehraeeyon mein
Tum hi hona
Tere naina
Haye naina

Paya tuje to sab mil gaya
Ehsaas aisa ki sab khil gaya
Jaise himalaya khud pighal ke sagar ban gaya
Haan in palon ki ranayeeon mein
Tum hi ho na
Tere naina
haye naina

Madhosh raatein, pal pal suhane
Rut gaa rahi hai, dil ke tarane
Sare nazare chand tare gungunane lage
In vaadiyon ki angdayeeon mein
Tum hi hona
Tere naina
Haye naina

Jaage jaage soye soye tere naina
Sapno mein khoye khoye tere naina

Tere naina
Haye naina

"To change the system, you have to be in the system"

I need an answer. Why is it important to have many faces? why is purity a weakness? I want to question the predominance of perception over reality. When there is the reality on one side, why is perception still the king? Its strange how far it can go. The point is, it does. Now im not going to argue over the phenomenon. I have known it exists. What i want to know is what made it rule. What made reality the second cousin. Why is the fake side celebrated?

The thing is the revelations should keep getting better. If you are thought of as great but are found not to be, the its a downslide. On the contrary, if the case is vice-versa, it is a pleasant realization. And thus treasured. But if one is good what is the necessity to wear a mask. The delight can be in the fact that it is such a blissful state to not to have to put effort in developing something with which you are not being true to yourself.

Either lookout for your type of surroundings. Or suit yourself to the best available. In the game of cricket, you cannot say i will not have a strategy because i play well. Despite being the best player, you will not win the game. You have to supplement your strengths. Aggressiveness is getting what you think you deserve. You are actually serving your true self by getting it its worth. It will be a defeat to your good spirit if you let it scramble in the belief that it is being protected. At the end of the day, it will never have recieved its worth.

I am not convinced.
( Lolz You better be).

Ah, actually, you are not wearing any masks at all. You are recognising other people's masks. You are realizing that everyone is not like you. You are understanding what they are capable of. You are now truly protecting your turf. In fact, you are now ready to attack.

** Christ should not have sacrificed himself. He should have fucked their case.

Makes sense

I feared being alone
until I learned to like
myself.

I feared failure
until I realized that I only
fail when I don't try.

I feared success
until I realized
that I had to try
in order to be happy
with myself.

I feared people's opinions
until I learned that
people would have opinions
about me anyway.

I feared rejection
until I learned to
have faith in myself.

I feared pain
until I learned that
it's necessary
for growth.

I feared the truth
until I saw the
ugliness in lies.

I feared life
until I experienced
its beauty.

I feared death
until I realized that it's
not an end, but a beginning.

I feared my destiny,
until I realized that
I had the power to change
my life.

I feared hate
until I saw that it
was nothing more than
ignorance.

I feared love
until it touched my heart,
making the darkness fade
into endless sunny days.

I feared ridicule
until I learned how
to laugh at myself.

I feared growing old
until I realized that
I gained wisdom.

smartass

The quicker u recognise smartasses the better for u. Is smartass a trap or a strategy? One thing u can do is dont wait for the smartass to do something u might regret having fallen prey to. To the slightest doubt over the smartass, make a quick decision. Cz u know how smartasses are, they will divert the situation to make u feel nothings wrong...or even pass the buck on u and then behave sporting about it. Smartasses are all around. A general qualification is selfishness. Smartasses get away as they are such smartasses. Dumb people, awake, smartasses on the prowl.

Modern Revolution

Orkut is easily one of those things we couldnt think would come up. It is thus great to know that its invention was triggered by another unpredictable phenomenon, love.
Here's the story behind orkut, doing the rounds of the internet.

A guy lost his girlfriend in a train accident....but the gal's name nowhere appeared in the dead list. This guy grew up n became IT technical architect in his late 20's, an achievement in itself!! He hired developers from the whole globe and planned to make a software where he could search for his gf through the web. Things went as planned... n he found her, after losing millions of dollars and 3 long years!!
It was time to shut down the search operation, when the CEO of Google had a word with this guy n took over this application. This Software made a whopping 1 billion dollars profit in its first year, which we today know as ORKUT . The guy's name is ORKUT BUYUKKOTEN . Yes its named after him.

Who flicked my pen again?

I think the pen is the most stolen object in the world. It is excused beacuse of its low price and an acceptance over the years that a pen 'will' be flicked. Something like umbrellas. They will be 'left'. But pen flicking is a round the year activity. It not just disappears from my desk but also from inside the drawer which sometimes also has cash. Everything is intact, only the pen is missing. I have now started to think that someone is purposely doing this to me. It must be a prank. Because i loose pens by the minute, not even days. Surprisingly, there are some people who really protect their pens. Like my partner. She uses the same pen day after day. Its better than the office pen but not that good to be thought of as a gift to qualify its unusual permanency. Its more of a personal pledge. Thats worth an applaud but not aspirational for me. I better loose a pen than be freaky over having it lost. Well, now my friend has gifted me a pen. I have protected it so far. It's difficult cause i use it all the time. It's disappeared a few times but has come back and i think its the desire of not losing it thats bringing it back...friendship stuff..(lol). So lets see.

I also think it is the worst advertised object in the world.
Who would go and ask for the german tip? And sometimes they showcase the body of the pen like its some exotic femme fatale. A pen can be an extremely personal product. Besides, being the most stolen derives that it is the most desirable, isn't it?

I remember once when i was in school, suddenly there was this thing of writing with mitsubishi pens. I dont know from where it came, it wasn't even advertised, and unlike staedler products, it wasnt overpriced either. But i found myself buying it just because of that silent rage spreading. It's like someone comes to your desk picks your pen and exclaims. "oh mitsubishi!" then notices its not and keeps it back and leaves. Im still finding from where did that come.
Opinion leaders really operate.
